Background

Emily works for a community drug programme in the boroughs of Sutton and Merton. She has previously worked for the youth awareness agency, In-volve, where she was a counsellor for young people.

As part of her varied work Emily provides family counselling and support group sessions for people affected by someone else's drug or alcohol problems. Emily began working with families in a previous counselling role at Holloway prison where she supported relatives of inmates there.

Emily has been working in the substance misuse field since 2003 and is skilled in helping people address a wide range of issues relating to the use of alcohol, illicit drugs and prescribed medication.
